Clean cut and gentle poetry.

Hello everyone:)

It is not a secret that I have much more passion for residential architecture than public. To create an a multifunctional space for a family is more personal business than in creating of public architecture. Down to the earth relation ship  between architect and users in this type of projects gives possibilities to put more personality on projects and go more in to the details that I better prefer:)
There is a that type of project that have captured my attention at architizer: a Newlands House in Capetown/South Africa. This building have been designed by chilean architect Antonio Zaninovic.

Clean cut surfaces gently attached to the landscape. Take equal parts poetry and structure, throw in some to-die-for landscaping and you've got architecture.

Words by creator : "The Newlands House incorporates a clean modern aesthetic that embraces the diverse landscape of Cape Town's rugged mountains and oceanfront location. While maintaining a high level of privacy, the Newlands House provides uninterrupted views of the sea afforded by its perch on a hillside above the city centre. The Newlands House stands in harmony with its location and environment".
